SWC Achievement Cup
The Southwest Conference (SWC) Achievement Cup was introduced two years ago as a hallmark recognition program tailored for high school athletics. It aims to honor excellence in two pivotal areas: sportsmanship and league success.
This initiative is distinct in emphasizing sportsmanship as a fundamental element. Each scholastic season, coaches from various sports within the SWC assess the sportsmanship of participating teams. This assessment, coupled their schools' overall performance in league competitions, forms the basis for awarding the Achievement Cup.
Serving as a beacon of comprehensive excellence, the Cup symbolizes the SWC's dedication to nurturing a balanced, positive culture in high school sports established by the CIAC, which governs high school athletics across the state.
